ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Sarah, a Pilates instructor, qualified Nutrition Advisor, former professional ballet and contemporary dancer, wife and mum to two girls.

Movement, health and wellbeing have been at the heart of my career for over 15 years. My journey began in professional dance, where I trained extensively in ballet and contemporary dance before completing a degree-level qualification in Dance and Dance Pedagogy and going on to perform professionally. This background gave me an in-depth understanding of the body, movement, alignment and technique, and ultimately led me to develop my career in Pilates.

I have been teaching Pilates since 2007 and am qualified in both Mat and Reformer Pilates, with additional specialist training in antenatal and postnatal Pilates. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of clients, from complete beginners and new mums to experienced movers, helping them improve strength, mobility, posture, control and confidence in their bodies.

Alongside my movement qualifications, I hold an RSPH Level 4 qualification in Nutritional Health, allowing me to bring together two areas I am passionate about: intelligent movement and practical, evidence-informed nutrition.

I now teach from Life Balance in Blackrock, Dublin, where I offer group Mat and Reformer Pilates, private Mat and Reformer sessions, antenatal and postnatal Pilates, and individual nutrition consultations.

Before moving to Dublin, I founded and ran my own Pilates and nutrition studio in Scotland, building a thriving community of clients and being awarded Best Health & Fitness Business in Perthshire at the Scotland Business Awards 2025.

My approach is knowledgeable and considered, but always practical. I believe that looking after your body shouldn’t mean striving for perfection or following extreme routines. It’s about understanding your body, moving well, building strength and creating realistic nutrition habits that can support you through every stage of life.

As a wife and mum of two girls, I also understand the realities of balancing your own health with work, family and everything else life brings. My aim is to give my clients the knowledge, confidence and tools to look after themselves in a way that feels achievable and sustainable.

Move well. Eat well. Age well. Live well.
